As the pioneering CEO of the Skoll Foundation and Founder of the Skoll World Forum, Sally Osberg works together with Jeff Skoll and their teams to foster a sustainable world of peace and prosperity. Investing nearly $400M in social entrepreneurs and innovators for scaling impact, Sally is a master at catalyzing positive systemic change.
Valued for her insight, Sally is an advisor to The Elders and a Founding Board Member of the Social Progress Imperative and Index. She also serves on the boards of the Oracle Education Foundation and the Palestine-based Partners for Sustainable Development. Sally has been named a “Millenium 100” for her leadership shaping Silicon Valley, and a NonProfit Times Top 50 Power and Influence awardee.
Not surprisingly, Sally has played a key leadership role advancing and sustaining the broader ecosystem of Skoll initiatives since the foundation’s inception. Prior, she was the founding Executive Director of Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose, and active as a director on the boards of the American Association of Museums, the American Leadership Forum, and Women and Philanthropy, among others.
Co-author of Getting Beyond Better: How Social Entrepreneurship Works, Sally offers genius insight on what it really takes to solve the world’s most pressing problems on the ground.
